VORTICE is an ongoing exploration that unfolds at the intersection of art, science, and consciousness. It is not simply an installation, nor a performance, nor an experiment, but rather something that lives in the in-between.

VORTICE is rooted in the ancient grammar of sacred architecture and alchemical science.
Across civilizations, sacred sites reveal recurring elements: pyramidal or pointed forms channeling energy skyward, water acting as mirror and transmitter, granite chambers resonating with vibration, and ritual sound binding the visible to the invisible.
These were not symbolic ornaments but a universal language where matter and spirit converged. Modern science allows us to recognize in these choices a precise material logic: granite, with its crystalline lattice and piezoelectric capacity, holds and amplifies vibration; water, with its fluid density and reflective surface, transmits resonance and stores patterns of sound; sound itself, as frequency and wave, activates hidden layers of perception and transforms states of consciousness.
In alchemical terms, these same elements were read through the triad of Salt, Mercury, and Sulphur: granite as Salt, the stabilizer and memory of Earth; water as Mercury, fluid and liminal, carrying resonance across thresholds; sound and breath as Sulphur, the fire that sets both matter and spirit into motion. When united, these principles awaken a subtle flame—not of combustion, but of inner illumination.
VORTICE inherits this lineage while reimagining it for the present. It is not a reconstruction of the past, but a reactivation of its principles: vibration as the origin of transformation, resonance as the vessel of memory, and form as a living architecture of perception. Thus VORTICE stands as both laboratory and temple, experiment and remembrance: a modern alembic where piezoelectric granite, vibrational water, and sonic breath intertwine with the hermetic axiom “As Above, So Below.”
In this union, scientific architecture and hermetic alchemy are revealed as complementary grammars of the same reality—two ways of articulating the threshold where matter becomes symbol, and perception becomes transmutation.
